The MarketRefer website owner handles privacy requests and complaints at info@marketrefer.com. This page is available without registration, payment or analytics consent.
What you can ask us to do
- Explain the personal information we process about you and relevant sharing.
- Correct, complete or update information, or assess an erasure request.
- Stop processing that depends on your permission. Use Privacy choices → Reject optional to stop future optional analytics. Contact us about historical information.
- Investigate a privacy concern or a suspected disclosure of your information.
- Record a nomination for someone to exercise applicable rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity, or assess a request from an authorised representative or lawful guardian.
We offer this contact route now. The availability and scope of statutory rights and regulatory remedies depend on the applicable law and its commencement. Nothing here removes any existing legal rights.
Send the minimum needed
Email us with the subject “Privacy request” or “Privacy complaint”. Describe the request, the information involved and an approximate date or relevant page. Use the email address from the original correspondence where possible. We do not need a new website account. Do not send passwords, OTPs, financial information or unsolicited identity documents.
We first use proportionate checks, such as replying to the original email address. If more information is needed to prevent disclosure to the wrong person, we will explain what is necessary and why. A representative or nominee may need to show authority. We do not ask everyone for Aadhaar. We cannot reliably identify an anonymous website visit using a name alone and will explain practical limits rather than release someone else’s data.
Response and review
Our service target is to acknowledge a request within seven days. Where GDPR applies, we respond to rights requests without undue delay and within one calendar month; any permitted extension will be explained within that first month. Our general complaint target is 30 days, with a maximum of 90 days unless an applicable law requires a shorter period. If a request is complex or needs clarification, we will explain the reason and next steps; asking for clarification does not silently restart the complaint deadline.
A response will describe the action taken or explain any legal or technical limit. Where information must be retained, we will explain the relevant reason. If you disagree, reply with “Privacy review” and explain the unresolved issue. The owner will review the response; MarketRefer does not represent this as an independent appeal body.
Additional GDPR rights
Where applicable, you may also request restriction, object to processing or request data portability. You may complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority, including where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. These rights and any exemptions depend on the processing and applicable law; consent to analytics does not waive them.
Escalation outside MarketRefer
Where the relevant DPDP provisions and complaint mechanism apply, an unresolved complaint may be raised with the Data Protection Board of India after using the available grievance process. Check MeitY’s official website for current Board information and the authorised complaint channel. We have not supplied an unverified portal or helpline. This does not restrict other remedies available under applicable law.
Language and accessibility
You may write in English or a language listed in the Constitution’s Eighth Schedule. Tell us your preferred language and any accessible format you need. We will arrange an understandable response. हिन्दी में जानकारी पढ़ें.
