Your choice
Optional Google Analytics starts only after you choose “Allow analytics”, confirm that you are 18 or older and the website successfully records your permission. “Reject optional” has equal prominence. “Manage preferences” shows essential storage separately from an unchecked analytics option. Closing the banner grants no permission and does not block the website.
Storage and recipients
- Essential: WordPress administrator sign-in/security cookies and hosting protection. Readers do not need an account. The browser stores your analytics choice, notice version, expiry and a signed receipt in local storage under
marketrefer-consent-v3for up to 180 days. - Optional: Google Analytics first-party cookies beginning
_ga, configured for up to 90 days with expiry refresh disabled. Google receives identifiers, events and technical visit information after allowance, potentially outside India or the EEA. Advertising signals and personalisation are disabled. - Consent evidence: a private server record contains a random reference, choice, notice version/hash, language, adult-confirmation flag and dates. It expires after up to 366 days from its last update. The receipt is not a Google user ID and is not sent to Google.
Withdrawal and expiry
Choose “Privacy choices” → “Reject optional” at any time. Measurement stops in the current page immediately, accessible first-party GA cookies are cleared, and other tabs are notified through the browser. If the server is unavailable, rejection stays effective locally and is retried on a later visit. Saved allowances are verified before loading analytics on a new page. A failure leaves analytics off. Clearing browser storage or a new notice requires a fresh choice.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep optional analytics disabled. AMP views do not load analytics. Old v1 choices are discarded. Browser-cookie expiry is separate from Google’s server-side retention; withdrawal is not automatic deletion of historical records.
External websites
Following an affiliate or merchant link may pass through another service. Its privacy policy and cookie settings apply there; our control does not manage its cookies. We do not load affiliate-network tracking scripts merely by displaying a guide.
